Emotional intelligence is the ability to identify and manage your own emotions, and the emotions of others. It involves understanding emotions of self and others, using them for solving complex problems of life and managing them to lead a happy and successful life.

Emotionally intelligent people possess empathy and compassion due to which they can understand their emotions and the emotions of others deeply.
